Today was my first time eating with Bowie's and I must say I'm impressed. The service was very friendly and fast and the value for the food was great. They have a lunch special until 2 for only $5.99!! I dined in and ordered the Fish and it was made to order and really tasty. The atmosphere very nice and it feels like u went back in time once u enter. I will be back soon

Great place to stop and eat. We drive 40 miles round trip just to come eat here . It's not fancy it's old time setting and old time log cabin. In the winter months the fire place is very nice. The staff is nice and the food is good . Even though this is a BBQ place they do serve outstanding fried catfish . I order it almost every time I go. All the meals are good and you get all you can eat hushpuppies with any order and they are tasty. So if your wanting a easy laid-back meal and good food give it a try we like it. O the unsweetened tea is also very good.

I ordered 3 meat plate with brisket,ribs,and catfish.I never got my catfish,they ran out! I was not offered a refund. They sold my catfish to someone else after I had ordered mine.Poor manager, very poor!!!!
